Two lucky winners have thousands of reasons to smile this month!

The month of May delivered some happy news to two lucky  ‘Won’ Vancouver 50/50 Staff Lottery winners, both from VGH: Rebecca Marshall, Transition Services Team (TST) Coordinator, and Susan Elliott, a Registered Nurse in the ICU.

Congratulations to our two lucky winners who received around $6,600 each.

What does winning the 50/50 lottery mean to you?

Happy days – it was truly a lovely surprise. I was ecstatic to win the draw, and was quite literally jumping for joy!

What are you going to spend your winnings on?

Safety first! I bought a new helmet just in time for Bike to Work Week. I’m putting the rest aside so that my family and I can take a sunny holiday next winter!

The next 50/50 Staff Lottery is June 30

What would you do with your winnings? There are two (or three) chances to win every month (depending on the corresponding pay periods) and you only need to sign up once to participate. The more tickets sold means the larger the winnings for staff and more funding for the Foundation. To date, $92,000 has been donated thanks to our staff.
