“I’ll always hold on to that dearly”

When a car accident led to a woman spending a night alone in the woods, she was grateful to later find herself in the care of Dr. Purssell and the VGH Emergency Department. Here’s why:

I wanted to write and personally thank Dr. Purssell for being so kind, thorough and incredibly thoughtful to me.

He made me feel a lot better after my car accident and night alone in the woods.

He was very attentive and really great. And also, all the nurses that were helping me. And the admitting nurse.

I didn’t get their names. But they were absolutely wonderful to me after having a really traumatic experience.

It meant a lot to me and I’ll always hold on to that dearly.

It made a world of difference in my very stressed and saddened mental state.
