Time to get your tickets for the 2016-17 50/50 Staff Lottery – sign up by November 3 and don’t miss one draw!

The First Annual Won Vancouver 50/50 Staff Lottery was a winning success for 24 VCH staff members, who had average prize payouts of $6,000 each! We’ve got two more draws tomorrow – October 28…the winner could be YOU – but only if you’ve got a ticket.

Whether you have a ticket or not, it’s now time to sign up for the Second Annual Won Vancouver 50/50 Staff Lottery – current ticket holders must sign up again for the new 2016-17 draws, and new players are always welcome! Visit the Won Vancouver webpage to learn more and download the sign-up form.

The draw is 50/50 – what happens to the other 50?

Half the proceeds of each draw go to one lucky staff member, and the other half goes to the VGH/UBC Foundation. Through the 2015/16 draws, our staff donated $163,000 to the Foundation, which directly benefits patient/client comfort and care. Recently, donated lottery funds purchased four ventilators for use in acute care at VGH, and community care at George Pearson Centre.

The next 50/50 Staff Lottery is November 25!

What would you do with your winnings? There are two (or three) chances to win every month (depending on the corresponding pay periods) and you only need to sign up once each year to participate. The more tickets sold means the larger the winnings for staff and more funding for the Foundation.

Complete the 50/50 Staff Lottery sign up form available here  and email it back to VCHStaffLottery@vch.ca. To be included in the November 25 draw, you must sign up by November 3!
