This year, lucky cyclists will be entered into a draw pool of almost $2,500 worth of raffle prizes at Bike-apalooza 2017!

Back for its fourth consecutive year, this free community event is hosted on VGH hospital grounds and open to everyone on and off campus. In addition to raising awareness and celebrating cycling, Bike-apalooza aims to help summer bike commuters extend their riding into the shorter, wetter and cooler days of autumn and winter. More than 700 people have attended over the past two years.

When and where

Date: Thursday, September 7  – 3 to 6 pm (raffle ticket distribution: 4 pm, raffle draw: 5:15 pm)

Location: VGH north lawn adjacent to the Heather Pavilion on the W. 10th Ave. bikeway between Willow and Heather Streets

Free stuff

Join us and enjoy complimentary juice, coffee and giveaways. This year we have some new features: bike mechanics will be giving a play-by-play as they look over bikes in the Bike Tune-Up Tutorials. Although it sold out in less than one day, there are still a few spots left on the waiting list.

A maximum of 300 free raffle tickets will be distributed at 4 pm. The raffle draws begin at 5:15 pm sharp. As names are announced, winners will select their choice of prizes until all are awarded. So, yes, you must be present at the draw in order to win.
