Chief Chat with Chief Ian Campbell, Squamish Nation
The Aboriginal Health team invites staff at VGH to join us for a cultural journey and storytelling with Chief Ian Campbell on Thursday, October 26 from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.
As the Aboriginal health team works with staff to improve patient care for Aboriginal patients and residents, we will be providing many opportunities for staff to learn and participate in in-person workshops, online training, activities and experiences such as this event.
“There is so much to learn about our local history and cultural knowledge from the three host nations in our region – Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh. We are thrilled to be partnering with Squamish Nation on this event. It’s a wonderful opportunity for staff to learn about First peoples culture and traditions that have existed for thousands of years,” says Leslie Bonshor, Executive Advisor, Aboriginal Health.
