December 9 festivities supporting our hospitals
Looking for a way to get in the festive spirit while supporting excellent patient care?
The VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation invites you to join us at two free family-friendly holiday events that are taking place on Saturday, December 9th supporting our Angel Campaign–which helps fund our hospitals and health care centres’ most urgent needs, like vital equipment and innovative research to make sure that the best, most specialized health care is available for all British Columbians.
City Square Shopping Centre
On December 9th, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Charlotte Diamond will be performing live at City Square. Also from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., Santa will be taking photos with the little ones. By donation, families will get a professional photo session with Santa (minimum charitable donation of $5 with all proceeds going to VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation).
See the City Square event information here.
Oakridge Centre
Get into the holiday spirit with festive classics performed by the Richmond Children’s Choir and local Vancouver pianists from the Young Steinway Artists program at the Tom Lee Music Angels Concert on Saturday, December 9th between 2 and 5 p.m. Oakridge will also be matching funds donated to VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation’s Angel Campaign at the event to a maximum of $2,500.
