Nursing Week events in Richmond

Staff on 3North also unveiled their award during Nursing Week.

In celebration of this year’s Nursing Week, a number of events were held across the Richmond Community of Care including two half-hour Rejuvenation Stations with guided relaxation and music, and a poster display in the hospital cafeteria.

Units and departments also organized their own events included the unveiling of the BC Quality Awards on 3South and 3North, and daily presentations and posters on 5 North as part of “Home Health Celebrates Nursing Week.”

National Nursing Week ran May 12-18th. This year’s theme was “Nursing: A leading force for change.”
