“Going to any hospital regularly is tough…”

… but thanks to the team at UBC Hospital’s Urgent Care Centre, one patient’s monthly intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) treatments were made more comfortable.

Here is her story, in her own words:

“To whom it may concern,

I wanted to inform you of the amazing treatment I always received from many of your staff in the Urgent Care area of UBC Hospital. I was scheduled for monthly IVIG treatments and was always treated so respectfully by your staff. Going to any hospital regularly is tough, and they always politely greeted me and remembered my name. It made the treatments much more comfortable. In particular, Elicia, Surinder, Krista, Gie and Ron went out of their way to make sure I was well taken care of. Thank you for providing such wonderful staff and services to myself and others at UBC Urgent Care.”
