Global News – BC reporter Tanya Beja interviews Sherry Moon, LGH Patient Care Coordinator, Perinatal Program, about memory boxes for parents grieving their stillborn infant.

In case you missed it: LGH was on the news

Global News paid Lions Gate Hospital a visit this past Tuesday. Reporter Tanya Beja came to do a story on Memory Boxes, which we wrote about in VCH News in early November.

It was the story of patient Sarah Manvell and her desire to help grieving parents honour their infant after miscarriage or stillbirth. You can read that story here.

Global TV interviewed Sarah at her home and then came to LGH to interview Sherry Moon, Patient Care Coordinator, Perinatal Program and ask about the hospital’s approach to helping parents cope with a stillbirth or “baby born sleeping.”
