Tell us what you do at VCH in one or two sentences:

I am a clinical nurse educator at the MSJH Emergency Department where I play a clinical supportive role for the department.  I deal with the staff’s education, inservices, and orientations.


What’s your favourite thing about your work?

My favourite thing about my work is the people who I work with.  It is the staff that bring me back to work each day.


How does your work contribute to the VCH True North goals?

Through education, staff feel welcome and comfortable in their work environment where they feel safe and feeling their job is meaningful – ultimately providing the best care.


One thing we might be surprised to learn about you:

I am a new-born health guru. I am eating healthy, exercising right, and try to achieve 8 hours of sleep daily.


Three things you always have in your fridge:

Sugar-free almond milk, bananas, and eggs.


Who or what inspires you?

People who inspires me are people who knows the strength within me greater than I know my own strength, they will very easily guide me toward a stronger version of myself.


Most healthy habit:

I drink absolutely no soda pop.  They are full of sugar.


Favourite vacation spot:

Boracay, Philipines.  It was so gorgeous.
