Tell us what you do at VCH in one or two sentences:
Our goal is to foster a caring environment to support tenants’ healthy psycho-social well-being in our small assisted living community. Therefore, I do my best to develop a caring team, create personal service plans that respond to our tenants’ unique needs, and ensure that families are satisfied and confident that their loved ones are being well taken care of.

What’s your favourite thing about your work?
My surprise wedding shower organized by the staff and tenants at Cedar Garden; it was completed unexpected and very much appreciated!

Which True North goal does your work contribute to the most?
Provide the best care.

One thing we might be surprised to learn about you:
This will come as a shock to those who know me – I’m actually very shy.

Three things you always have in your fridge:
Milk, eggs and bread.

Who or what inspires you?
My mother inspires me. She has overcome so much in her life, which has made her super strong, and I admire that strength.

Most healthy habit:
Playing outdoor activities, like basketball, with my 10-year-old daughter.

Favourite vacation spot:
I haven’t been, but I plan to make this my favorite spot: Mauritius (East Africa).
