Do you need to call the Flu Shot Reporting Line?

Workplace Health has two ways for you to report that you got your flu shot at a location other than at a health authority vaccination clinic.

You can send an email to the Flu Shot Reporting Line at flushot@WhCallCentre.ca or phone toll free 1-855-358-3580. Hours of operation are 0800 to 1600h Monday to Friday. This service is available between October 9th and December 21st 2012.

The Flu Shot Reporting Line is available for all employees at Lower Mainland health authorities, Interior Health, Northern Health and BC Ambulance.

If you choose to report using email, include your name, home telephone number, their employer’s name, site or program where they work, day month and year of vaccination and where it was received (public health, family physician or pharmacist). You don’t need to include the name of the vaccinating physician or pharmacist; only that you have received a vaccination from one of these sources.

If you get your flu shot at one of our health authority staff flu vaccination clinics, your record will be entered into the Workplace Health Information Tracking and Evaluation (WHITE) database for you to ensure accurate reporting as the flu campaign progresses. If you get your flu shot from your family physician, pharmacist or public health unit, you need to phone the Flu Shot Reporting Line.

It’s easier than ever to get immunized against influenza! VCH on-site flu immunization clinics begin October 22.
