For the next few months, VCH has additional weekly seats in the PHSA Indigenous Cultural Competency on-line training. This training has been spoken of as the best on-line educational curriculum many people have experienced. The Core ICC Health and the Core ICC Mental Health Modules are specifically tailored for health care practitioners while the Core ICC is developed for Allied Health professionals. The training offers practical hands on skill building while raising awareness of the current and historical issues impacting the health status of First Nations and Aboriginal peoples.
