It is with mixed emotion that I announce the retirement of Patty Nichol from her current role of Compensation Specialist with Vancouver Coastal Health. Patty is planning her retirement at the end of May this year.
Patty has worked in varying roles throughout her 33 years with VCH, starting her career in the community, with the last 6 years as compensation specialist within my team. During this time she has connected with many of you one way or another as she so effectively carried out her work. She has the enviable combination of amazing memory and recall, excellent judgment, dedication, integrity and calming influence as she carried out her work.
I take this opportunity to thank Patty for her numerous contributions to health care. Congratulations, and all the very best in the exciting years ahead!
