You’re invited!

Clinical Research Symposium:  Global Trends & Issues in Clinical Research – Think Global, Act Local co-hosted by VCH Research Institute (VCHRI) & BC Clinical Research Infrastructure Network (BCCRIN).

VCH Research Institute and BCCRIN are hosting the 4th annual Clinical Research Symposium on April 23rd – bringing together clinical research professionals from across the Lower Mainland health authorities. The focus of this year’s event is on the importance of quality in clinical research and the role of research in BC – nationally and internationally.

Of particular significance to VCHRI clinical research professionals is the launch of the VCHRI Clinical Research Audit and Inspection Preparedness Program (AIPP). Jean Smart’s “Be Prepared!” presentation will address this new program and approaches to study quality and compliance – educating researchers on what to expect when audited and how best to ensure good outcomes from the process. Specifics will include audit readiness and how to manage the audit process from start to finish.
