On April 2nd you will see new terminology when viewing the Internal Postings. This is as a result of recent collective agreement changes.
Permanent positions will now be posted as Baseline or Vacation Relief or Other Relief.
Temporary positions will now be posted as Baseline-with end date or indefinite, Vacation Relief-with end date or indefinite and Other Relief-with end date or indefinite. (All vacancies will be posted as per the respective collective agreement requirements.)
Training positions will now be posted for specialty nursing education training seats.
Explanation of the New Position Types:
Baseline: Position is needed to meet the planned normal staffing levels.
Training: Position identified for specialty nursing education training seats.
Other Relief: Regular position used for relief other than vacation relief (e.g. short-term relief, sick leave, work load).
