National Nursing Week is May 12-18
This year from May 12 – 18th we celebrate National Nursing Week. The theme for this year is “Nursing: A leading force for change” which speaks to the critical role nursing plays within our healthcare system. Across the continuum of care and in all practice settings, Vancouver Coastal Health nurses are acting as change agents to support and facilitate change that impacts both those we serve and to our own work environments as professionals.
As chief nursing officer I would like to thank each of you for your ongoing commitment to both your professional standards and quality patient care – your contributions make a difference every day. To acknowledge and celebrate National Nursing Week, we have organized a number of events.
