Upcoming workshop to help you stress less

How are you? “Busy?” “Crazy -busy?”

Statistics everywhere show that we are more stressed out than ever – 30% of Canadians aged 35-54 report that most days are ‘quite a bit or extremely stressful’ (Perceived life stress, 2012 Stats Canada). We require more from ourselves and others, but with fewer resources and less time.  In response to this increase in daily stressors, countless studies reveal that mindfulness helps reduce stress, and meditation creates the ability to be calm and focused despite what’s going on ‘out there.’ So why aren’t we practicing being mindful? We are too busy!

Put an end to crazy busy and the stress that comes with it. Join us for this FREE hands-on session using the latest research and understanding of Mindfulness and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction to increase your energy while decreasing stress. Learn practical tools to change old unconscious habits and create new conscious ones so you can be present to enjoy your work, relationships, and life.

  • Learn to develop a calm, relaxed and focused mind
  • Create a daily mindfulness meditation practice

Thanks for your feedback, Jane. We are working on having the sessions videotaped to provide the content, in some format, online as well. Our Project Lead, Simone Riml, is also available to present these workshops to specific groups using our live meeting technology, so if this is something you are interested in please feel free to contact her. Her direct contact information is available on our website, http://www.efap.ca.
