Omnicell Mobile Tour: July 30 – August 11

Don’t miss your chance to see the latest medication management technology in action.

Starting July 30, the Omnicell Mobile Tour is hitting the road to demonstrate their innovative medication management solutions. From this fall onwards, new and upgraded Automated Dispensing Cabinets – which play an important role in medication safety – will be rolled out at hospitals across the lower mainland.

The Omnicell Mobile Tour will be visiting three acute sites with Lion’s Gate Hospital hosting on August 11. All staff are welcome to drop in to one of the tour sites to learn about the new Automated Dispensing Cabinets, along with other medication management solutions including Anesthesia Workstations, pharmacy Controlled Substance Management systems and analytical software.

Omnicell has transformed a semi-automated trailer into a demonstration venue, where front-line clinical users and healthcare leaders can get hands on experience of the products and systems, ask questions, and speak with knowledgeable Omnicell representatives and local project team members.

Lower Mainland Pharmacy Services are rolling new cabinets and updating existing ones in preparation for the implementation of the Clinical and Systems Transformation (CST) Project and a new Closed Loop Medication Management system.
