The Clinical and Systems Transformation (CST) project recently launched a poster campaign to draw attention to career opportunities with the project.

CST needs you!

Are you ready to help change the future of health care? This is your chance to improve the quality, safety and consistency of patient care across VCH, PHSA and PHC.

For the last couple of months, the CST team has been actively recruiting internally and externally for positions across the three health organizations. Internal postings can be found on each organization’s intranet site, and all external postings are listed on the CST website at CSTproject.ca/careers. Positions include clinical, technical and professional roles – everything from senior RNs, to learning coordinators, to project managers.

Rena van der Wal, CST’s Executive Director of Human Resources, says the recruitment effort is progressing well. “We’ve been able to make some great new additions to the team, and many positions remain open,” says Rena. For example, the project urgently needs to hire:

  • Senior RNs with specialization in both adult and paediatric oncology to join the clinical design/configuration/validation teams.
  • Program Liaison (Clinical Informatics Specialist) roles are still open for various specialities, including critical roles in surgery, oncology, and ambulatory. These roles will serve as the main point of contact between CST and clinical programs and specialty areas across all three health organizations.

What you can do to help

If you or anyone you know is suited to these roles (including potential external hires), please encourage them to apply. Visit CSTproject.ca/careers to learn about many more exciting opportunities, or contact Rena van der Wal directly at Rena.vanderWal@vch.ca.
