This year from May 9-15th we celebrate National Nursing Week. Every day we celebrate the wonderful care that VCH nurses provide to our clients, but on this week we take the special opportunity to come together to celebrate!

Within Vancouver Coastal Health, nurses are making immense contributions to the health and well-being of our clients, residents and patients and the health care system as a whole. Every day, VCH nurses are impacting clients across their span of life and experiences, in diverse practice settings. From providing remote urgent care to in-home palliative care, to vaccination and screening for children, critical care for trauma patients, harm reduction and prevention of overdose, and maternity care. VCH nurses are with clients through their life experiences and providing excellent professional care! The theme for this year is Nurses: With you every step of the way.
