It’s not too late to fill out your 2016 Census Forms! Enumerators from Statistics Canada have already started contacting VCH facilities regarding the collection of information. The census work affects mainly facilities where patients live, but other sites will be contacted as well. Starting June 1, 2016 census staff have started following up in person and by phone, with those households whose questionnaires have not yet been received.

What to do if you get questions

If you get questions about the census from patients, clients or residents, there are a couple of options for them to get information:

1. They can read the Census & You leaflet from Statistics Canada
2. As of May 2, 2016, they can call the Census Help Line (CHL) at 1-855-700-2016 (Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., or Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
