Medical Health Officer Dr. Meena Dawar gets her flu shot

Media are our allies in the flu fight

Reporters and camera operators got their flu shots Wednesday at an event to kick off the flu season in VCH.

Medical Health Officer Dr. Meena Dawar told the media how people can prepare for the upcoming flu season, who’s most at risk of getting the flu, and where people can be immunized. Dr. Dawar rolled up her sleeves for the cameras and got immunized. Several television, newspaper and radio reporters and a camera person all got their flu shots.

Info about the flu (for the public) can be found on the VCH website and info for VCH staff can be found on the website.
