Changes to pay advice

Effective immediately, a new line is being included on your pay advice called Benefits ER. ER means EmployeR (ER) paid. Benefits ER includes the total employer cost of dental, extended health and long-term disability (LTD) benefits. You will no longer see employer amounts separated out for these three benefits.

Pension, MSP, Group Life and AD&D will continue to be published as separate line items.

There is no financial impact to employees as a result of this change. 

This is a reporting change on your pay advice only as a result of the implementation of Joint Benefits Trust (JBT).

The VCH Connect page Your pay advice has been updated to reflect these changes.
