Attention VCH Cyclists! Lead a Bike to Work Week team!
If you’re a VCH staff member who bikes to work, then we might have you covered …with a merino wool t-shirt. To claim your free shirt, register for the Spring 2017 BtWW campaign (May 29 to June 4) under the organization “Vancouver Coastal Health Authority – VCH” as a Team Leader and recruit at least four other cyclists onto your team. Whether you’re new to cycling or have been riding for years, we encourage you to register and log your trips.
Bike to Work Week
Bike to Work Week is a community event to celebrate bike commuting across Metro Vancouver! With over 75 Celebration Stations offering free drinks, snacks, bike mechanic services and great prizes, there are many reasons to sign up. Along with winning prizes and the freebies, a strong and growing number of logged trips help HUB Cycling work with local leaders to improve cycling infrastructure across Metro Vancouver.
Events and prizes
VCH will be hosting two Celebration Stations: Mon May 29th (7-9:30am) at the VGH Cycling Centre, and Wed May 31st (6:30-9am) at LGH – HOpe Centre.
Grand prize – beyond a bike-a-day giveaway – is a Dream Bike Trip along Croatia‘s Dalmatian Coast. …and Team Leaders are also eligible for the draw to win additional awards and prizes, including an 8-day bike trip in Tuscany.
