Find out why everyone is going to want to do this survey

On September 14, CEO Mary Ackenhusen announced the upcoming My VCH survey, an organization-wide initiative that will ask about your experiences working at Vancouver Coastal Health.

Why should you fill out the survey?

This survey is the beginning of something big for all of us at VCH. It is the first step of a much larger plan that will move us from being a good organization, to a GREAT one. The survey gives us a starting place to drive real change. It will help us understand our strengths, and highlight the areas where we can make improvements, in order to design a road map for our future. The survey is most effective when the entire organization participates.

If you want be part of building a better VCH – maybe tearing down barriers that stand in your way of providing the best care, or of working more easily and effectively with your colleagues – you need to have your say in the survey. This is your chance to have a voice – for you, your teammates, and ultimately, our patients and clients.

Yes, there are prizes!

If you complete the survey, you’ll automatically enter the draw and will remain in the draw until the survey closes (or until you win!). Winners will be drawn daily. Prizes include:

How do I fill out the My VCH survey?

Your personal survey link will arrive in your work email inbox on September 25. You have until October 6 to complete the survey. The online survey is mobile-friendly and can be completed at work or at home, on a computer, laptop, iPad, or smartphone.

Useful tips

The survey takes approximately 20 minutes to complete, and all responses are confidential and anonymous.
As much as possible, we’ll try to bring the survey to you: Watch for information kiosks and polling stations at our larger sites, along with roving iPads to be shared at certain sites upon request.
Daily emails will give you details about some of these on-site voting options, as well as daily prize draws and winners.
