New WorkAbility website and brochure

At VCH, we know that healthy health care employees are the foundation for delivering safe and quality health care services to our patients, clients and residents. Having you at work benefits us all — staff, managers, your colleagues, the people we serve — and most importantly you. Research shows that getting back to work after an injury or illness improves recovery and rehabilitation, and helps to maintain morale and a connection to the workplace while providing ongoing income.

New WorkAbility website and brochure

Are you struggling at work or returning to work from an illness or injury? Our new WorkAbility website (vchworkability.ca) and brochure is just one way we can support you – our greatest resource – in navigating the resources and supports available to help get you back to your regular routine sooner.

“We want staff who are off work to feel supported by VCH and have immediate answers to the questions they may have, such as how they will be paid and what supports are available through WorkAbility. It’s about putting all of our people first – including staff who are off work.” said Janet Henry, Director of WorkAbility.
