The right tools to get the job done

At VCH, getting the job done or completing a project often involves engaging with those who have the lived experience to share and input to offer so that we as an organization:

  • Do the best we can for our patients
  • Make better decisions
  • Ensure we are being patient and family centred
  • Use our resources wisely
  • Build trust with our communities

In order to achieve these goals, we need the right tools.  The Community Engagement Team is committed to building the capacity of our organization to achieve these goals.

As an organization, we are already doing this well; as evidenced by the last Accreditation cycle in 2016 which acknowledged VCH for the engagement work underway – noting it as one of the organization’s top three strengths. It’s great to see how VCH staff are working hard to include engagement processes in their work.

Tools to help you

To support keeping up the good work, Community Engagement wants to continue to provide you with the tools you need.  On our intranet page, (internal link), we have a box of tools just waiting for you to use.

Yes, I’m using a VCH computer. Take me to the community engagement intranet page.
