Online tools: What they are and how to use them

Since our March Lunch & Learn fell during Spring Break when many people are trying to flee the Wet Coast, we’ve decided to move it back by a few weeks and will be offering two Lunch & Learn sessions in April at 520 West 6th Avenue in Vancouver.

The Power & Pitfalls of Social Media: Insights for VCH staff – Friday, April 13th

Facebook, Twitter, and  Instagram are fun online platforms to connect with friends and family and stay informed, but social media is not without potential pitfalls, such as fake news and data privacy. This session will provide you with an overview of what social media is and why people use it, privacy issues to be aware of when using social media, and tips for being successful on “social”. You’ll also learn how our corporate @VCHhealthcare channels can help promote your public-facing VCH events, services and news.

Presenter: Megan Bradfield, Digital Communications Specialist, VCH
