British Columbians call on Facebook to protect kids from online predators

A group of prominent British Columbians launched a campaign calling on Facebook to introduce security measures to protect underage children from predators who troll the site looking for potential victims. Kip Woodward, the chair of Vancouver Coastal Health, is a supporter.

West Van won’t annex community over water woes

Unincorporated Montizambert Wynd near Horseshoe Bay has been on a water advisory since 1996 and has been requested to have a safe drinking water plan by Vancouver Coastal Health.  West Vancouver mayor is opposed to the street hooking up to municipal water due to cost.
