City of North Vancouver to hold pay parking open house for area around LGH

Last year the City of North Vancouver conducted a Resident Parking Policy Review Study. One of the recommendations from this study was to improve the on-street parking situation in residential areas by installing pay parking on the Lions Gate Hospital frontages. The pay parking would replace the existing 2-hour restricted parking and provide a convenient visitor parking option with good turnover to reduce pressure on the on-street parking supply for residents in the area.

Under the recommendation, pay parking meters would be installed on the LGH side of 15th Street and St. Andrew’s Avenue.

You are invited to attend an Open House to:

  • view pay parking options
  • participate in developing an implementation plan
  • view information boards and discuss options with City staff

The Open House will be held at the City Hall Atrium at 141 West 14th Street on Thursday, June 20th between 5 and 7 pm. More details on this project can be found on the CNV website at www.cnv.org/RVPP
