LGH staff band together to achieve enhanced clean benefits

As part of Lions Gate Hospital’s ongoing efforts for infection control and efforts to ensure quality and patient safety, the 6th floor units at the hospital underwent an enhanced clean recently.

This was a big effort with many team members coming together to make it happen. Aramark and front-line nursing staff worked together in the organization and clean of the unit. The staff members involved truly went above and beyond in their efforts to make sure patient care wasn’t interrupted while cleaning every surface of the unit thoroughly.

The project was a great success in meeting the outcomes as identified by Clinical Quality and Patient Safety.

Feedback from the staff ranged from “Fabulous teamwork” to Everyone working hard together to accomplish the same goal” to “Collaborative effort to make everything run smoothly.”
