Squamish staff, physicians and volunteers: Let us know what transportation you take by Feb. 28

VCH staff, physicians and volunteers at Squamish General Hospital or Hilltop House are being asked to complete an Employee Transportation Behaviour survey between February 17 and 28, 2014.  A link to the survey was sent to all potential participants via email by the Lower Mainland Integrated Protection Services – Parking, Access and Commuter Services and VCH Employee Engagement.

How can I take the survey?

The link to the survey was sent to you via e-mail on February 18, 2014.  Please use this link to take the survey.

What will the survey tell us?

The survey is designed to get more detailed information on your current transportation behaviour to and from work.  All answers will be used to evaluate the feasibility of the proposed cycling facility improvement, i.e. a new bike rack or a bike cage.

Please encourage as many of your colleagues as possible to complete the survey by Friday, February 28, 2014.  The success of this initiative depends on your participation.

Have a question?

If you have any questions, please contact Eiselle Omampo at Eiselle.Omampo@fraserhealth.ca

Thank you for taking the time to participate in the survey.

  1. TRISTAN RAYNER

I have completed the survey and really hope to see some positive responses here!

Squamish is a cycling community with a high concentration of expensive bicycles. Thieves are aware of their prevalence in the community here and sadly they are a prime target, even in public and open places.

The security provided by a bike cage would allow more people to safely secure their bicycles while they work without the fear of returning to find they have been relieved of their pride and joy.

Thanks very much for allowing us to contribute our thoughts!
