Retired nurse expresses thanks to LGH staff and physicians for recent care

I was admitted to the Emergency Dept. at Lions Gate Hospital on March 9/14 about 6 am by ambulance.

I feel compelled to comment on the most competent, professional, and attentive care that I received at this time, particularly from the attending physician, Dr. Gary Andalfatto who pursued investigation of my ill state until a diagnosis was made and immediately treated.  I was treated with respect and professionalism by Dr. Andalfatto and the staff, nurses (remembered Kevin) who were on duty at that time – from 6 am on the 9th until 4 am on the 10th when I was admitted to a ward on the 6th floor.

Also I would like to compliment Dr. P.Chan, the admitting physician for the ward, as he also was very competent by explaining what was happening and was professional and respectful.

I am a retired Community Health Nurse and had never had to personally experience being a patient in the ER and feel grateful and overwhelmed to have had such a positive experience.

Thank you in advance for acknowledgement of this letter.
