Urban Poling: Give it a Try!

Urban Poling is a fun, low impact, full body workout that burns 20 to 46% more calories than walking!

After two ‘sold out’ sessions at Vancouver General Hospital, the team from Urban Poling have added introductory sessions at six other sites across Metro Vancouver this summer. The first session will take place at Lions Gate Hospital staff during the lunch hour on Wednesday July 8 – (noon to 1 pm).

Twenty participants will be provided with loaner poles and a certified Occupational Therapist will then explain the benefits and walk with us to make sure we do it right. If you already have your own poles, feel free to join the event!
