Save the date: IHealth guest to offer learnings and lessons at LGH All Staff Forum May 8th

***Update: This event has been postponed.***

Our guests from Island Health have had to postpone their visit to Lions Gate Hospital originally scheduled this Monday, May 8th. Watch this space in the coming weeks when we’ll announce the new date for the Coffee and Conversation Forum where you’ll get a chance to hear about their experiences with an Electronic Health Record implementation, and ask your questions.

Lions Gate Hospital staff and physicians are invited to attend an All Staff Coffee & Conversation Forum in the CST Hub on May 8th featuring a guest speaker from Island Health, who will discuss that health authority’s experiences with an Electronic Health Record implementation.

After more than a decade of planning, full activation of the EHR on Vancouver Island began on March 19, 2016. This process took place at three sites: Nanaimo Regional General Hospital (NRGH), Dufferin Place and the Oceanside Health Centre, located in Parksville.
