Stepping into Kindergarten: Sechelt and Powell River health fairs
Do you have a child entering kindergarten in September? VCH is holding free health fairs in Sechelt and Powell River to prepare them for kindergarten. Children can receive:
- hearing screening
- immunization boosters and catch-ups
- dental screening
- vision screening
- speech and language screening
- nutrition and injury prevention information
- growth and development
- reproductive health information

Call 604-885-5164 to book an appointment. Please plan for a one-hour appointment for a full screening and so your child can enjoy the play area and a light snack. All appointments are at the Sechelt Public Health Unit on April 26 – 27, and May 23-24 from 9 am to 3 pm.
POWELL RIVER
Call 604-485-3310 to book an appointment. Please plan for a one -our appointment for a full screening and so your child can enjoy the play area. All appointments are available at the Powell River Community Health on May 3, 4 or 7 between 9 am-3:15 pm.
