Canadian Tenors sing at Richmond Hospital

Three members of the Canadian Tenors being interviewed
by CBC reporters during a recent visit to Richmond Hospital.

The Canadian Tenors – featured entertainers at last weekend’s Starlight Gala – stopped by Richmond Hospital earlier this week to visit patients and staff in the Emergency Department and Cancer Care Clinic. They also sang a touching rendition of  “Hallelujah” to patients in the Clinic.

One of the members of the group, Fraser Walters, reminisced about the time he had stayed in the hospital and undergone surgery here. He still remembers how impressed he was with the care he received, and believes it helped save his life.

Another member commented on how activities like visiting hospitals and entertaining at fundraising events influences and inspires their music, and – as much as they love what they do – reminds them that good health is even more important.
