Please join us for the annual Auxiliary Christmas Tea on December 6, 2012 from 2 – 3:30 pm in the Ralph Fisher Auditorium at Richmond Hospital. All staff, physicians, volunteers and contractors are invited.
The popular event is a great opportunity to celebrate the holiday season together, thank staff, physicians and volunteers for their many contributions over the year and, honour the Auxilians for their many contributions. It’s also a chance to enjoy delicious holiday treats – including the always popular chocolate fountain – prepared by Sodexo staff.
Other highlights this year will include senior Administration staff dressed as Santa and his elves and holiday music provided by many of the same superstars who participated in the VCH tobacco cessation music video called “Doin’ it Right!”
In the spirit of the holiday season, please bring a donation for The Greater Vancouver Food Bank. Items especially in high demand include: tinned soups and fruits, vegetables, fish, meat, macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, and powdered and tinned milk. Cash and cheques are also welcome. With each dollar you donate, The Food Bank can purchase three dollars worth of nutritious groceries for the thousands of people they support each week. Tax receipts will be issued for any donation of $20 or more. Cheques should be made out to The Richmond Food Bank Society.
