Eights are great! $8,888.88 donation from annual White Spot event

White Spot at Richmond Centre donated 100 per cent of Christmas Day net proceeds and staff tips, totalling $8,888.88, to the  Richmond Hospital Foundation.

For the eleventh year, White Spot, Richmond Centre  was open  on December 25th for a special Christmas lunch  with all staff time, tips and net proceeds donated to Richmond Hospital Foundation. Approximately 50 staff  participated this year.

“White Spot at Richmond Centre has been an outstanding community partner for Richmond Hospital Foundation over the past decade and it’s made a real difference for the work that we do to support quality care for patients,” said Natalie Meixner, President &CEO of Richmond Hospital Foundation. “We have community leaders stepping up in support of Richmond Hospital throughout the year, but White Spot is always special because of their extra effort on Christmas Day.”

The event has raised over $70,000 since it began in 2001.

For 25 years, Richmond Hospital Foundation has raised over $40 million in support of quality health care in Richmond.
