Eight people from across the Richmond community of care were recognized at the recent staff forums for demonstrating People First Values. These amazing staff members demonstrated care and compassion in a variety of circumstances from responding quickly to an influenza outbreak during the holidays to looking after a patient’s seeing eye dog.

Claire recognized a potential outbreak of influenza at the Minoru Residence. She acted quickly, initiating outbreak protocols key to protecting residents from adverse health outcomes.

Jillian went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure care and comfort for a patient’s seeing-eye dog – this included going on her own time to organize walking schedule and even buy dog food.
She always demonstrates a commitment to putting patients’ needs first and foremost.
