Move for Health Week runs from tomorrow, May 6 through May 13.

The week-long event brings the community together to celebrate the opportunities and benefits of healthy, active living.

Here’s a short schedule of events:

  • May 6 from 6 – 8:30 p.m. – Come and enjoy the Kick-Off festival at Minoru Track. Take part in “Walk with your Doc,” featuring many Richmond physicians, as well as activities, demonstrations and interactive exhibits.
  • May 11 from 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. — The Wee Walk festival for preschoolers, their families and caregivers takes place at Minoru Track. The morning’s festivities conclude with a lunch time walk, led by Richmond Mayor Malcolm Brodie.
