Kind, compassionate and high quality care made the difference to two Richmond families in November. Thank you for all your hard work!

“I just cannot keep my gratitude in my heart”

A grateful family express their thanks to staff and physicians at Rosewood Manor:

Today marks the three-month milestone of my mother moving to Rosewood Manor. I have enclosed a couple of pictures of how happy my mom was at the Halloween event to show you how your help has made a difference to us. She is now happy and always wearing a smile. To our surprise, she now actively participates in recreation programs and always wants to take a front-row seat…The Mental Health Team is satisfied with her condition and has closed her file, and her mood disorder and apathy seem further improved. Our family is satisfied now that she is happy, and probably these have been the happiest moments over these past few years. I do not have to worry any longer about [her safety and hygiene]. I still go to see her every day, but I do not have to stay with her the whole day. I do not have the privilege to talk to her for too long since she is being kept rather busy with programs.

It is beyond my words to show how thankful we are. I just cannot keep my gratitude in my heart, I have to say it loud to express our thanks and gratefulness to you, for your kindness, your guidance and your help. It really makes a difference in my mom’s life as well as mine. Thank you!

A new mom doesn’t know what she would have done without help from Richmond Public Health Nurses:

THANK YOU so much. Your reassurance and answers to my questions mean the world to me. And yes things have gotten better and better as he gets bigger. My moods have improved so much, I feel like myself again and am doing things I use to. I attribute to him being a good baby and the sleep, yes the sleep, really does wonders. I really was lost at first being a new mummy and not knowing anything, and literally earning everything as it came. But I am so glad I had you and owe a big part of keeping my sanity. You and all the other public health nurses don’t know what great things you do. Whenever I called or emailed you, you always made me feel ten-times better, from the struggles I had with breastfeeding to my baby blues. You are so caring and compassionate, like a mother, a sister or a really great friend. You were my support system as good as my own family. I can’t thank you enough….
