Get Active – Eat Well – Be Healthy – Join the Healthiest Winner!

Healthiest Winner begins again in September at both the Hillcrest Aquatic and Trout Lake Community Centres in Vancouver. Aimed at promoting healthier living through regular physical activity and healthy eating, this unique 16-week program partners VCH and the Vancouver Parks & Recreation Board.

If you are new to being active or haven’t been active for a while, this program is for you!

In addition to coaching from certified fitness leaders in low-impact and graded physical activities, there are free educational workshops on healthy eating, stress management and goal setting.

VCH employee discount

All are welcome, with VCH employees eligible for a 25% discount. Further financial assistance is available through the leisure access policy which allows some individuals to participate at half the cost.

Forms, referrals and recommendations

If you are a Health Care Professional recommending and/or referring to the program, we suggest supporting your clients in filling out a ‘PAR-Q and You’ and/or a ‘PARmed-X’( physician only form,  use as necessary)  ensuring your client is ‘ready’ and  ‘medically safe’ to increase activity and/or exercise.
