It’s just a matter of weeks now before the builder turns over the keys to The Djavad Mowafaghian Centre for Brain Health (CBH).

Located next door to the Koerner Pavilion at UBC Hospital (UBCH), the CBH is a new and truly unique facility in Canada. Uniting patient clinics and research in the areas of neuroscience, neurology and psychiatry, the centre will bring all the multidisciplinary areas of brain health under one roof.

In December, the tenants will begin to move in, including our very own:

  • Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Clinic
  • Medical Daycare Clinic
  • Movement Disorders Clinic
  • Multiple Sclerosis Clinic

Other VCH clinics, as well as clinical trials/clinical research staff, will follow in 2014.

To acquaint themselves with the building and how best to operate in the new environment, clinic staff will participate in clinic dry runs December 2 to 13 prior to moving in.
