Excavations underway on VGH campus

Further to earlier news on our preparatory work to relocate VGH medical gas tanks on campus, excavation work is well underway.

In December, the work is expected to be relatively loud and result in vibrations and pedestrian and vehicular traffic disruptions and re-routing in the  following areas of the VGH campus:

  • sidewalk on West 10th avenue near the VGH loading bay
  • lane between Banfield Pavilion and the Centre for Disease Control
  • lane behind the Doctors’ Residence building
  • west sidewalk on Heather Street and nearby lane entrance
