That means you’re not alone if you’re planning to enjoy the upcoming good weather by getting to work on your bike. So, why not take advantage of the last stages of the winter lull at bike shops too?
To support your active commute, a few nearby bike shops have responded to our call by increasing their neighbourhood discount for Health Authority staff. From March 15th through April 13th, two VGH-area bike shops will offer:
- 15% off accessories and parts
- 10% off labour … a good offer from small independent businesses with low profit margins!
All cyclists should have a bike shop mechanic that they feel comfortable with and now, before the a-bit-too-busy warmer months, is the best time to get your questions answered. (Note: In the spirit of “get to know your bike mechanic,” these bonus HA discounts are eligible Mondays through Thursdays only.)
