Graham Wickham

Biomedical engineer Graham Wickham receives prestigious award

I would like to congratulate Graham Wickham on his award as a Fellow of the Canadian Medical and Biological Engineering Society (CMBES).  This prestigious award is given to a member of the Society with an exceptional record of accomplishments and service to biomedical engineering whether in practice, development or research.

In addition to Graham’s invaluable contribution to in-house clinical engineering, he has been involved with the ALS Society, the Medical Device Development Centre (MDDC), and the CMBES Local Chapter and Conference planning.

Graham joins a select few in the Society who have achieved this distinguished title.  For more than 35 years Graham has been highly sought after by VGH staff and management for his in-depth knowledge, skill, and ability with all issues related to medical technology.

This is well deserved recognition of an exceptional career.

I can think of no one more deserving of recognition than you Graham. Not only are you an obvious expert in your field but you are so willing to share what you know and in such a patient manner. You are always so willing to help anyone who asks, to support those of us who rely on you (maybe way too much) and to help us problem solve in a way that leaves us feeling like we thought of the solution all by ourselves! I have great admiration and respect for you as a professional Graham and I want to thank you for all you have contributed to VGH. A well-deserved award.!Lois
