This year, our VGH & UBC Hospital’s fourth annual Thank-a-thon will be held on Tuesday, May 30.

What is the Thank-a-thon?

Each year, a group of nurses come together to call and thank the many donors who support our hospitals and health care centres. Over the last three years, nurses have called more than 700 donors!

The Thank-a-thon is an evening of appreciation. Many calls result in meaningful conversations and heartfelt appreciation. In addition, we provide:

• training before the Thank-a-thon
• dinner on the night of the Thank-a-thon
• discussion during dessert where we ask volunteers to share a memorable conversation they had that night
