Young artist exhibition supports Art Studios

On June 3, 2017, VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation will host The Life of Art Young Artist Exhibition in support of Art Studios, a therapeutic art program for people living with mental health illness and addiction in Vancouver.

The Life of Art Exhibition showcases works of art created by talented young artists from our VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation’s Youth Leadership Program and raises funds for Art Studios through a silent and live auction.

“This event presents youth with the chance to help others while developing their creative potential and leadership skills,” says Kitty Cheung, organizer of the Foundation’s Youth Leadership Program.  “Last year, the exhibition was a success raising over $27,000 for Art Studios.”

The event takes place on Saturday, June 3, from 10 am to 6 pm at Heritage Hall located at 3102 Main Street, Vancouver, and is open to the public.
